I have had a BIG issue with getting a blow-out. I had my go-to place for a while. A chain that is really well known. They did my hair for my cousin’s wedding about 3 years ago and it was ON POINT. I ended up winning some gift cards to there too so I kept going to try it out. After the first, though, they started not doing so well on my hair. They would say that it was “uncurlable” and that they just couldn’t curl it. I was super confused with this. I have a wand at home and I curl my own hair just fine. But, every time after the first time I went there they would try a different styling tool to curl my hair and it would just not curl.
I was disillusioned and decided from then on out that I would NEVER have anyone do my hair again. Especially since I kept dishing out money towards something that I could do on my own for free.
Then, one day on my way home, I passed a little shop called Dry Society Styling Lounge. The aesthetic was beautiful from the outside and I told myself that maybe one day I would try it out. Finally, after months of passing by it, I decided to make an appointment for a blow-out and a makeup application.
I was literally BLOWN AWAY. Not only could they curl my hair, but their makeup artist made me look so AMAZING while still keeping my natural beauty for the world to see.
Dry Society Lounge is my FAVORITE blowout place in North Austin hands down!
