Happy Thursday y’all! Galentine’s Day is almost upon us and it’s time to gather your gals and get to planning the PERFECT Galentine’s Party!
I wanted to share how I am preparing for my first Galentine’s Party with you all in case you were looking to plan something too!
Step 1: Invite Your B!+ch3s!
I always smile when I get any kind of invitation whether it’s through regular mail or email. I love using Paperless Post for all my invites. You just set up an account to get started! Now, they also have a FREE option to create an animated flyer for your next event. You can send it over email and collect RSVP’s. Suuuuper easy! And all their designs are ON POINT.

Step 2: Decorate
I tryyyy to be frugal even though I am EXTRA AF. Haha. I decided to head to Target and Dollar Tree for most of my decorations. I also picked up a few plates, napkins, and more from Amazon. I didn’t know where to start when I started planning but Pinterest was a lifesaver! There are so many decoration ideas that I decided to make a board for it. Check it by clicking HERE.
Step 3: Create the Menu
Always find out what everyone’s dietary restrictions are. I know, sometimes it can seem like an extra necessary step. But, a good hostess always tries her/his best to make everyone happy! I am having my Galentine’s Party aaaafter Valentine’s Day even though I know it’s usually the day before. But, I also did it that way so I could get candy at a discount. Haha. Also, I did this because it gives me more time to make all the snacks that I want to make myself for the party. Again, I got a lot of ideas from Pinterest and saved them HERE. I also plan on getting themed cookies, cupcakes, and/or a cake from a local bakery.
Step 4: HAVE FUN!
It’s really easy to forget to have fun when you are planning an event or party. But, you really have to remember the whole point of Galentine’s is to celebrate your gals AAAAAND yourself. Don’t forget to smile, laugh, and forget your worries during your party even if it’s just for a few hours.
I hope this small guide helps you all plan for your Galentine’s festivities!
