Whenever my little sister is in town, I make it a point to take her out to eat to places she doesn’t have the chance to go to since she lives in our hometown of Del Rio, TX. Last night, she was in the mood for sushi, so I decided to treat her to Kona Grill.
Kona Grill never disappoints! For a sushi chain restaurant, it is great every time!Β I love the wait staff who are always nice and eager to serve. Our waiter was Alex and he was AMAZING. The environment is always hip and lively.
I had a delicious sangria to drink and my sister had a lemonade.
We were lucky that we arrived in time for reverse happy hour (9 PM – Close) and were able to take advantage of the happy hour specials while sitting at the sushi bar.
I had a Crab Crunch Roll and my sister had the California Roll, which were both on the happy hour menu. We also order Chicken & Shrimp Lettuce Wraps to share.
The food was great and the service was amazing. That is what makes Kona Grill one of my favorite places to eat in Austin.
If you have the chance to go to Kona Grill for happy hour or reverse happy hour, you definitely should!
