IT’S OFFICIALLY CHRISTMAS AT CASA GONZALEZ! And with Christmas comes…*DRUM ROLL PLEASE*…The Nueva Latina Annual Gift Exchange. Well, it’s not “annual” yet, but I hope we have enough participation this year to do it every year.
This is not one of those chain letter gift exchanges. Lol. This is a LEGIT gift exchange. You will be someone’s Secret Santa and someone will be your’s. Everyone give and gets one gift up to $25.
HERE’S THE DEAL
All you have to do is opt-in here to make sure you don’t miss out.
I’ll draw names on Dec 3rd and that’s when Elfster (the site I am using) will send you the name of another person around the country (or world, if you select that you’re open to int’l shipping). That’ll be the person you shop for. Then you shop, ship and don’t forget to write a note revealing who you are (name, where you live, Instagram handle, etc.)
SAVE THE DATE(S):
Dec 2nd – You have to opt-in by midnight to participate (protip: just do it now)
Dec 3rd – I’ll draw names and you’ll find out who you’re shopping for
Dec 21 – Make sure your gift will arrive by then (but if your Secret Santa is int’l it’ll take longer, so send it ASAP and try to get it there by Dec 31 the latest)
HOW MUCH SHOULD I SPEND?
I recommend around $20-25. The spending limit is $25.
WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE SURPRISES?
Use the “Wish List” feature on your profile to give your Secret Santa an idea of what you’re interested in. You can use the tool directly on Elfster or link out to an Amazon Wishlist.
ANYTHING ELSE?
Please don’t opt-in unless you can fully commit to participating. No one likes being stood up, and it’ll land you on the naughty list. ;)
