I am soooooo excited! This has been a long time in the works and it is finally happening!
I am excited to share the first episode of Latina Tribe with everyone! Wooooo! I can’t believe it. In this podcast you are going to hear a lot about what it means to be a Nueva Latina in the US whether you were born here or somewhere else.
I will be talking pop culture and sharing some of my personal life stories. You’ll get to learn from me, explore with me, or disagree with me. Haha
You will also get to hear from badass Latinas that are a part of the Latina Tribe and are doing amazing things in the world!

On today’s episode of Latina Tribe we’ll be talking culture. As Nueva Latinas our Latino and American culture is something that has become a part of us and ultimately make us the people we are today.
Also, I will be speaking with Elena Flores fellow Chingona and Founder of Sew Bonita about her shop and her sewing journey to where she is today!
Elena was born and raised in the border town of Eagle Pass, Texas, and is currently living in Corpus Christi, Texas with her husband, Gerald Flores who owns tacogear.com and their 4 furry children!
She started her sewing venture in November of 2014 as a hobby. She attended several classes, but for the most part she is self taught. She is also obsessed with every part of her Mexican culture! The food, décor, color, music, traditions and so much more! She says that if she could she would throw cascaron confetti everywhere she goes. But for now, she is content with designing her Chingona shirts on sewbonita.com.
I am so excited to be able to interview and highlight all these amazing women who are a part of the Latina Tribe!!
