Happy Hump Day!! I am officially 1 day away from my trip to Playa del Carmen for one of my bestieβs bachelorette party weekend. I havenβt been to the beach in Mexico since two years agoΒ for my baby sisterβs big 1-8. The beach is my favorite place to be and I am excited to finally be back.
I wanted to do a pre-trip post to tell you all about where I am going, how I prepare for my trips, and my packing essentials.
We are staying at the most amazing looking AirBnB from Friday to Sunday. I have never stayed at an AirBnB in Mexico, but I am super excited about it. Itβs a condo right on the beach front and the complex has a pool. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 4 beds; perfect for a bachelorette weekend!
My favorite part of staying in an AirBnB is probably how cheap the stay is, but also the easiness of being in a prime location while still feeling like you are at home.
The condo is right by the beach so I plan to take full advantage of that. Running and laying on the beach are my favorite things to do when I am in a beach town.
The weather is not looking too good for my first day there, but I am prepared for any kind of weather Mother Nature has for us!
My packing list for my Playa trip will include:
- Passport
- One-piece and Bikini
- Cover-Ups
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Camera
- Go-Pro
- Backpack
- External Battery Packs
- Shorts
- Lightweight Shirts and Tank Tops
- One Pair of Jeans
- Dresses
- Sandals, Flats, and Sneakers
- Heels
- Sweater
- Rain Poncho
- Travel Umbrella
- Water Shoes
- Necessities (toiletries, etc.)
The weather is supposed to be rainy on Friday then partly cloudy the rest of the time we are there. I want to be prepared for anything.
Going through Pinterest I found a few outfits that I would like to mimic on my trip.
Packing is going to be an adventure. I have to pack tonight since I will be leaving tomorrow morning SUPER early. Thankfully, I am spending today at a conference that happens to be close to an outlet mall. I plan on stopping by for anything else I might need (or want lol).
Any reccomedations or suggestions?
