If you told me I would be getting engaged one day to the true love of my life when I was in high school I would have laughed at you. At the time I didn’t really believe in true love and honestly thought that marriage was born out of convenience. That was also the time in my life that a guy asked me to be his girlfriend and told me to keep it a secret (haha).
On 6/08/2012 JulianΒ asked me to be hisΒ girlfriend. On 6/25/2016 he asked me to marry him. MIND…BLOWN.
It was random and unplanned just like the rest of our relationship up to that point. He was unexpected and I honestly wasnβt looking for him, or anyone for that matter, when I found him.
I thank God each and every day for bringing him into my life.
Itβs been an amazing 4 years so far and I canβt wait to spend the rest of my life with him!
Julian proposed on the evening of 6/25/2016 with both our families present. He told me we were having a USA vs. Colombia game watch party. Minutes after arriving to his aunt’s house, a trio walked in playing our song “Amorcito Corazon” with my family in tow. I was super SURPRISED. And, I was also really happy that my family was able to make the trip up to be there with us. It was PERFECT.
