HELLO 2023!
Y’ALL…WE HAVE OFFICIALLY SURVIVED 2020, 2021 AND 2022 Y’ALL!
I can’t believe 2023 is here ALREADY here! The past year went by super fast! January is one of my favorite months because it serves as a month to START OVER for many of us. We now have 362 days left in 2023 and that is 362 more opportunities to make this year YOUR year!
My Goals…Why do I set them? Why do I want to share them here?
- Setting goals helps me remain focused.
- Sharing my goals helps to hold me accountable.
- I hope that it may inspire you to set goals for yourself!
Setting goals is essential for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn your vision of this future into reality. The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You’ll also quickly spot the distractions that can, so easily, lead you astray.
My word of the year is CHANGE. 2023 is already starting with new beginnings and I know this year will be full of them. I want to welcome the changes in my life and be open to them no matter where they take me.
My phrase of the year is “The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change their future by merely changing their attitude.” I haven’t always been the best at accepting change and have had to learn to let go of things that I have no control over. This year I really want to focus on changing my attitude in moments of change and try to see things from all sides.
Life Goals
- Get 7-8 hours of sleep.
- Train and run a half marathon.
- Workout at least 3 times a week.
- Start a family.
- Make more time for family and friends.
- Spend more time with my pups.
- Continue to build meaningful relationships in my life and in my community while helping elevate those around me.
Werk Goals
- PASS THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING EXAM.
- Make at least 100K a year with engineering AND The Nueva Latina.
- Be more social with my coworkers and start establishing myself as a leader at the City.
The Nueva Latina Goals
- Post on Instagram at least 1 time a day.
- Post on TikTok at least 1 time a day.
- Reach 10K followers on Instagram by the end of the year.
- Reach 20K followers on TikTok by the end of the year.
- Cover more local shops, people, organizations that I shop at and support.
- Restart my YouTube channel.
In 2023, I really want to BE HAPPY and to welcome CHANGE. I can’t wait to see what 2023 holds for me, for my career, and for The Nueva Latina!
