Monday Sushi Night: Kona Grill at The Domain in Austin, TX
Kona Grill never disappoints! For a sushi chain restaurant it is great every time! I love the wait staff who are always nice and eager to serve. Our waiter was Alex and he was AMAZING. The environment is always hip and lively.
48 Years Ago: The first TRUE Music Festival – Monterey Pop 1967
I watched the Monterey Pop documentary again last night and I fell in love all over again. People weren’t on their phone the whole time and no one was pushing or fighting to try and get closer to the stage. The people in that documentary were just happy to be listening to the music live. I hope my generation can gain back that genuine love for music. Music can bring so much change and I think we have forgotten that.
Foodie Friday – Houston (Katy) Edition: Green Garden Chinese Restaurant

An Ode to my Little Sister
Now, she is 16 going on 17. She began her Junior year on Monday. Over the years we have grown closer and I can say she is both a sister and a best friend. She tells me all her gossip with friends and boys. I tell her things about my life that I know no one else would understand. She is my shining light and everything I do in my life I do with consideration to her and my younger brother. I am so proud of who she HAS become and am excited for all the things she CAN become.
100 Songs to Save Your Life (1-50)
A year and a half ago I began a list of 100 songs I thought could save someone’s life. I started the list to give to my younger sister because sometimes I feel the music of today won’t help her get through most of what life throws at her. I love Music. Music had been […]
